Introduction from the Chair:

Charnwood Triathlon Club was formed in November 2006 as a medium to provide triathlon opportunities within the local communities.  We pride ourselves on being open and accessible for all – all ages and abilities are welcome to join us and participate in what is the fastest growing sport in the UK.   The club was established as an Adults club (over 16's), with a Children's section (8 – 16 years) being developed and launched in May 2008.

Since being established, the club has steadily grown and now boasts over fifty members.  A dedicated committee exists to ensure our members receive the best and most appropriate service to suit their sporting needs.  Over it's first year, the cub has set up various activities to create a dynamic and positive atmosphere amongst the club.   The club's strong infrastructure, welcoming environment and robust procedures has led us to achieve the huge honour of becoming the British Triathlon Federation 'Club of the Year 2007'.
